Healthcare Administration vs. Healthcare Management

While healthcare administration and healthcare management are both leadership positions in hospitals, clinics, and medical practices, they have different focuses. Healthcare administration leans toward day-to-day operations: staffing, scheduling, patient experience, and quality of care.
Healthcare management focuses on the broader financial and strategic picture: budgets, overall costs and profitability, and the organization’s direction.

LVC’s certificate is a management-focused, MBA-based credential, offering a direct path for those interested in the financial and strategic aspects of healthcare leadership. The leadership skills this certificate builds are transferable, though, offering a strong foundation for administrative Ó³»´«Ã½s as well.
