This visit option is best for students who are just beginning their college search or students who are looking for a general overview of everything The Valley has to offer.

Enjoy a student-led tour to explore the places you will live, learn, and grow, and end your visit by meeting individually with an admission counselor to talk more about how LVC can help you reach your goals.

This visit option is best for students who are looking for a more individualized visit experience or those who would like to meet one-on-one with an admission counselor to discuss specific questions about LVC.

Individual Information Sessions are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m.

Explore a residence hall, academic buildings, dining areas, and social spaces with one of our Valley Ambassadors. This visit consists of a campus tour only and does not offer an admission presentation.

Campus tours are offered Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3 p.m.

Step into the shoes of a Dutchman for a day! Fully immerse yourself in life as a student at LVC by attending a class in your area of interest, eating lunch in the dining hall, and taking a student-led tour of our beautiful 370-acre campus. While students are in class, parents will get a complete overview of how our staff supports student success inside and outside of the classroom.

This visit option is ideal for students who would like a deeper look into their intended major and students who want a firsthand feel for the classroom experience and campus community.

Our Discovery Day is designed to give you an in-depth look at what life is like as a Dutchman. Whether you’re exploring academic programs, engaging with current students and faculty, or discovering the vibrant campus culture, this day will provide all the insights you need to make an informed decision about your future.

Our Discovery Days are an ideal event for students who are looking for a more comprehensive campus visit that includes the opportunity to connect with current students, faculty, and representatives from key campus offices.

Discovery Day Open Houses are offered on the following dates, and you can expect to spend approximately four hours exploring LVC:

Interested in completing your degree at The Valley? We’d love to welcome you to campus to start the conversation! Join us for a visit designed specifically for prospective transfer students. During your visit, you’ll meet with an admission counselor to discuss the transfer admission process, transferring credits to LVC, and financial aid. Plus, you’ll enjoy a student-led tour of our campus.

After registering for your visit, please email your unofficial transcript(s) to agibson@lvc.edu to receive a preliminary transfer evaluation.

Transfer Information Sessions are offered on the following Tuesdays at 11 a.m., and you can expect to spend just over two hours with us:

Discover Ó³»­´«Ã½ Valley College your way! Our Open House program includes a campus tour, a meeting with faculty in your area of interest, and interaction with current LVC students and staff. This Academic Department Open House provides a comprehensive visit experience for prospective students and their families.

Optional: Bring along your unofficial transcript for a one-on-one session with an admission counselor for an early, unofficial read of your admission and merit scholarship – giving you a head start on your college journey. We look forward to welcoming you to the Valley!
