As a sociology major at LVC, you’ll examine the social and cultural forces that shape our lives, study societal relationships, and ultimately come to understand human behavior.
The Ó³»´«Ã½ Valley College Bachelor of Arts in Sociology prepares you to work in various careers where you can put your knowledge of people and relationships into practice; industries like marketing, human resources, and social work all need sociology majors. You’ll also benefit from extensive internship options in places like Bethany Children’s Home, Pennsylvania state government, Ó³»´«Ã½ Youth Advocate Program, and Byler Holdings.
Concentrate in family studies or criminal justice, enabling you to pursue graduate studies in social work, law, or other fields. Need-based departmental scholarships are available.
