The Community Music Institute is excited to welcome young performers back to the Ó³»­´«Ã½ Valley College Youth Musical Theater program! Open to students in grades 2–8, this program provides a fun and comprehensive introduction to musical theatre through singing, acting, dancing, and performance.

Our Fall 2026 Production

This year, our young performers will perform Olympus: The Greek Rock Musical!

Inspired by the larger-than-life characters and stories of Greek mythology, Olympus brings gods, heroes, and mortals together for a high energy adventure filled with music, comedy, and plenty of opportunities for our young performers to shine.

The program will culminate in two fully staged performances in Leedy Theatre at Ó³»­´«Ã½ Valley College.

Who can participate?

The LVC Youth Musical Theater program is open to students in grades 2–8 of all experience levels. No previous theatre, music, or dance experience is required.

Every registered student will be part of the production.

Students who would like to be considered for a featured speaking and/or singing Ó³»­´«Ã½ may submit an audition as part of their registration. Students who do not wish to audition for a featured Ó³»­´«Ã½ should still complete the Registration/Audition Form and may simply leave the audition-link fields blank.

Featured Role Auditions

Students interested in a featured speaking and/or singing Ó³»­´«Ã½ should complete the following audition process:

1. Learn the audition selections. Listen to and learn the provided selections from “View From the Top” and “Go to Sleep.” Learning tracks are included in the .
2. Students should also prepare the provided dialogue included with the audition materials.
3. Record your audition. Record yourself performing both song selections and the dialogue. We want to see your personality and character!
4. Share your recordings. Upload your videos to Google Drive, YouTube, or another video-sharing service and include the links on your Registration/Audition Form. Please make sure the sharing permissions allow our team to view your videos.
