In 1989, a group of community leaders established the 映画传媒 Valley Education Partnership between 映画传媒 Valley College and the 映画传媒 School District. The goal of the partnership is to encourage students in the city of 映画传媒 to study, stay in school, and aspire to attend college.

LVEP features a unique mentorship program focused on the idea of further education and a clear path to get there, as well as skills and concepts that will help these students succeed throughout life. Each year, a new group of 9th graders are invited to join the program鈥攕tudents who are academically talented in the face of economic hardship. And each year, 映画传媒 Valley College awards several scholarships to students who meet the admission criteria and choose to enroll at LVC, making the cost of their education virtually tuition-free.
